For more than 25 years I have been working with agencies and direct clients to create beautiful and useable products for web, mobile, tablet and surfaces. I produce projects from concept to completion for many blue chip clients, working on global briefs.

I have worked on many multi-channel projects & pitches creating both bespoke websites and large integrated content managed sites, motion graphics, microsites, social media content, film, video, mobile and tablet applications (Apps), eCommerce solutions and numerous on and off-line advertising campaigns. Previous to going freelance in 2009 I worked at McCann-Erickson, Manchester for 14 years as a Senior Digital Art Director.

My skill set includes digital art direction, ideas generation, conceptual and strategic thinking, typography, user interface design (UI), user experience design (UX), conceptual interactive design, web, APP, social media campaign creation, digital marketing, online advertising, video, motion graphics and a thorough understanding of how these elements work together to form an end solution / product that is both engaging and answers the client's brief.

I have a daily knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere, Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Audition, Adobe InDesign, Google Web Designer, InVision, MarvelApp, Sketch, I have a working knowledge of CSS, HTML, jQuery, Wordpress, Webflow, Framer and Shopify. Whilst I am not a developer I have a thorough understanding of the capabilities of Cordova, PhoneGap, iTunes Connect, Google Play Developer Console, (APP delivery), xCode, Android Studio.

I have worked in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, London and Sydney. Now as a freelancer I mainly work remotely from a purpose built garden/home studio, working with direct clients and both small and large agencies based around the UK and overseas.
